Catherine Munoz

CREDENTIALS: MSN, RN, CNOR, LNC

Catherine brings over 40 years of nursing experience, beginning her career in the perioperative setting. She has been instrumental in developing new cardiac surgery and robotic programs, service lines and new construction hospital transitions while in leadership roles and traveling. Catherine pursued an MSN degree from Southern New Hampshire University with a concentration in patient safety and quality while directing an outpatient surgery center. She later held the position of OR educator, transitioning new grad RNs, surgical techs and floor nurses into perioperative and postanesthesia care units. She worked briefly at a law firm as a legal nurse assistant and in a risk manager role. She has maintained membership in the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and has held her CNOR certification for over 30 years. She has a passion for patient safety, lean efficiency principles, high-quality care and developing staff to engage in process improvement initiatives to be their best selves in the workplace.
