Theresa has over 20 years of experience as an emergency and trauma department nurse. She received her BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and her MBA in Healthcare (MBAHC) from Western Governors University. She obtained her Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification in 2007 and Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification in 2018. She is the course coordinator for Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and an instructor for Emergency Nurse Pediatric Nurse (ENPC). She precepts and mentors new nurses who are specializing in the emergency department as well as trauma nursing. Theresa is currently employed at a Level II facility, currently in pursuit of a Level I, as a trauma nurse clinician (TNC) at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX.
