Kristen Ponichtera

CREDENTIALS: BSN, RN, CCRN, CFRN, CTRN

Kristen brings 10 years of critical-care and flight experience to her lectures. She earned her BSN from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and Sigma Theta Tau International. Her critical-care experience includes medical, surgical, cardio-thoracic, trauma, burn and neurological specialties, as well as Rapid Response and Code Teams. She also brings extensive air and ground transport experience and serves as a CFRN certification review program director. Kristen found her love for education while serving as chief flight nurse and mentor to transport nurses and enjoys helping nurses feel empowered in their profession.
