It includes best practice issues, pain management and complications of sepsis and ARDS. Care of the family in crisis during the patient’s hospitalization will also be discussed.
Program Learning Outcomes
This program prepares the learner to:
- Discuss resuscitation with a focus on abdominal and extremity trauma and surgical patients.
- Describe the best practice issues to prevent complications of post-trauma and surgical patients including: GIB and VTE prophylaxis, glucose control, sepsis and ARDS.
Agenda
Sign-in begins at 7:30 am. Each day includes a one-hour lunch (on your own), as well as a morning and afternoon break of 15 minutes each. The order of lectures presented and break times may vary according to speaker preference.
