This program is designed to assist medical professionals who care for the child with neurological diagnoses and related complications. Topics covered will enable the participant to increase understanding of how pediatric neurological disorders are diagnosed and managed, where and when children are referred for needed therapies and what prognosis holds. It will also provide an overview of neurologic conditions, evaluation and treatment options. The diagnosis and practice of neurology is complex due to the variation within disorders, however, the use of case presentations in this seminar will provide a comprehensive, clear overview of common and uncommon neurological problems.
This program prepares the learner to:
Sign-in begins at 7:30 am. The day includes a one-hour lunch (on your own), as well as a morning and afternoon break of 15 minutes each. The order of lectures presented and break times may vary according to speaker preference.
